Principles of Sociology

The course titled “Principles of Sociology” is part of the MA Sociology Programme. It examines the fundamental concepts and diverse dimensions of the discipline of sociology. It explores the dynamic relationship between social structures and individual agency. The course seeks to understand how social structures and institutions shape patterns of social behaviour, roles, and interactions. At the same time, it analyses how individual agency actively contributes to social transformation and change.
