Environmental Education and Disaster Management

This course adopts a holistic approach to the complex relationship between human society and the natural environment. It transitions learners from foundational awareness to active, socially responsible engagement in environmental conservation and disaster risk reduction.

The curriculum is structured into five blocks covering environmental literacy, biodiversity, sustainability, and institutional frameworks. It emphasizes a "Culture of Safety" by shifting the focus from reactive relief models to proactive, pre-disaster mitigation strategies.

A key highlight is the investigation of modern technological applications in disaster preparedness. The course explores how tools like Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) are utilized to enhance environmental monitoring and emergency response.
