This two-credit skill course explores the science, technology, and application of biofertilizers as eco-friendly alternatives to chemical fertilizers. It focuses on the role of beneficial microorganisms in improving soil fertility, nutrient availability, and sustainable agricultural productivity. The course integrates both theoretical concepts and practical aspects, with an emphasis on large-scale production, commercialization, and future strategies for biofertilizer use in India.
